she wasn’t kidding when she said that this album was a love letter to love. in every aspect of the word, lyrics and production. she really outdid herself like she does over and over again.

TAYLOR has done it again! Lover is so long, intricate, delicate, and poetic! More than ever before I want to sit down with her and hear her stories and ask questions about every single lyric. I know she’ll never do that and that’s okay. Some things can remain mysterious. There are so many levels to this album. Her songwriting has matured to a place that completely blows my mind! Genius!

And NO SKIPS...of course, no skips! Have you ever had a “skip” on a Taylor album? Well, tbh I skipped “Soon You’ll Get Better” on second full album listen today because I’m supposed to be working and that song hits a little too hard (had me sobbing in my closet last night) and I started to cry 30 seconds in today.
