BEWARE! Some “health” products contain Sucralose. Is that really healthy? Sucralose (also known as Splenda) is an artificial sweetener and sugar substitute. It is produced by chlorination of sucrose. Chlorine has been found to reduce the good bacteria in your gut. The majority of ingested sucralose is not broken down by the body. (http://www.foodinsight.org/Content/6/gestationaldiabetes.pdf) Sucralose is also about 320 to 1,000 times sweeter than sucrose, three times as sweet as both aspartame and acesulfame potassium, and twice as sweet as sodium saccharin. Evidence of benefit is lacking for long-term weight loss with some data supporting weight gain and heart disease risks ("Nonnutritive sweeteners and cardiometabolic health: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials and prospective cohort studies". Canadian Medical Association Journal. 189 (28): E929–39. doi:10.1503/cmaj.161390. PMC 5515645. PMID 28716847) (16 July 2017). Do your research. If your “health” product contains Sucralose you might want to find a healthier alternative that uses natural ingredients to satisfy your cravings. #nosucralose #naturalingredients #livehealthier https://www.instagram.com/p/Bxj7IIrnFqT/?igshid=1qbxxt2ny5jtb
