My friends, enemies and those who I've not decided about yet.

I last posted a certified bee post in February this year. Before that was a long drought of posts. My pinned post is from a year ago. I've been meaning to make this announcement for a long time.

Due to personal reasons, I cannot manage this sideblog of mine by myself (or at all?) anymore. I have given up posting daily, have not refilled my queue in a long time, haven't searched up bee posts in forever. And I want to change that. I want to make this blog active again.

Since this is a sideblog, I have the option to give other persons the "right" to post etc. I plan on doing just that. My only problem is, I do not know another person who is into bees, has first-hand experience with them AND has tumblr. So, I'd like to ask you, dear followers:

If any of you is interested, I am "hiring". Hit me up with a message at my main @dermuenzler . I will carefully consider between those who approach me to ensure the quality of bee posts you are (/were) used to.

Surely some of you almost 70 people will be interested? I hope so.

Requirements under the cut.

You must be chill, we must get along at a base level. We shall see if this is the case when we talk.

You must have an interest in bees, have a baseline understanding of posting on tumblr, etc. Just, you know, you need to be interested in doing this.

It would be preferable if you know the basics about bees and beekeeping. If you, for example, study biology or what have you, and thus know a lot of that about bees, you don't need firsthand experience with them. If you beekeep and know how to work with bees, you don't need to know every aspect of how a bee works.

That's about it. If you excel in some of those requirements but fail in others, I may think about making an exception.

I will teach you my tag system.

I will probably accept between 0 and 2 people, depending on the response.

Rescued this little buddy from the sidewalk at work the other day. This is not a bee, but rather a bee fly (species unknown). Like bees, they are important pollinators in many ecosystems, but unlike bees, they don't sting.

I thought this was a bee on my dahlia. But thanks to the helpful website iNaturalist, I discovered that this cute little creature is, in fact, a drone fly!
