My main lesson from this semester is I will never study 16th and 18th Britain/Ireland at the same time ever again. Or if I do, I will do it with people who are fucking normal.

If folks are wondering about data on the use of the term "Anglo-Saxon" and why to stop using it, check out David Wilton's article "What Do We Mean by Anglo-Saxon?: Pre-Conquest to Present." I'm not sure if it's open-access or not because I'm currently on my university wifi, but it's on Project MUSE which makes me think it might be.

As another Skimmer Box Surprise, I pulled these two from in there (second one with help bc I almost didn't notice it). Noticed one as I was gonna reach in to pull out the skimmer box, but then got alarmed and extended an olive branch (small twig) for assistance
