Not sure what is the point of having an ask if you're not going to answer anything whatsoever and completely ignore.
I don't answer everything that comes my way because 1. a large portion of it is very similar and I don't want to clog up everyone's feed with "hell yeah i hate bobby flay too" posts all the time because I would personally rather fill my blog with dumb shitposts and not a slough of asks and 2. as the creator of this blog and the only person running it I do, in fact, get to choose what goes up and what doesn't.
I apologize if the choice to not respond to every ask disappointed you, but it is the way that I will continue to run my blog. Just know that while I don't respond to every ask and do not have any intention to start doing that, I do read them all. If an ask is something that I don't want to post on my blog for any reason, I don't respond. Simple as that. I hope this doesn't discourage anyone from sending asks, because I love to get them and a whole lot warm my heart. But, here, for full transparency's sake: I love getting asks and messages and I do read them, but I will not guarantee a response.
I don't feel like I have to justify myself, but here's the reason because I understand that this could easily come off as standoffish: this whole page is just for shits and giggles, both for myself and my followers. I never meant for this blog to become anything more than that, and while it's gotten mildly popular in its little niche and I think that's amazing and hilarious, I still treat it as just a fun little corner of the internet. I don't want to take the fun out of it for myself and add unnecessary stress to my life by starting to feel some kind of obligation to it, whether that be posting regularly or making sure my following grows or having to full-on announce a break or anything else. I'm not a content creator, I'm just a person on the internet with a very weird blog that I use from time to time. I want to keep this blog in good fun for all involved (cough except maybe Bobby Flay), myself included.
tldr: this blog is a dumb thing i do sometimes and i'm super happy i've been able to make other people laugh through it but i do not and never will treat it as a responsibility
