I'm seeing a lot of people shit on Clint now that the new marriage candidates are revealed. And I kinda get it. His whiny "I don't know how to get a gf ohhh woe is me" thing annoys me, as someone who doesn't understand the obsession of getting a partner (since I'm happy with being by myself). Self pity like that annoys me, but I guess I kinda get it...dude doesn't seem to have a social life. Maybe he thinks a girlfriend will fix that, but I doubt it will.
However, I don't necessarily think that makes Clint an incel, but he does have the capacity of going down that route, should someone want that in their fanfic or whatever.
As far as I remember, he didn't stalk Emily during the bush scene, he got scared and hid behind the bush so Emily wouldn't see him? Maybe I'm misremembering but I swear that's how it happened. He does seem a little petty though (8 heart scene with Emily, when he congratulated you for winning her over or something).
At that point I was like "dude fuck off", merely because I was already married to Shane and I was not interested in cheating on him with Emily lmao. He's very socially stunted from what I can tell, and it's not doing him ANY favors... He should use the Fridays he has off to go and talk to people instead of being at the community center all day imo.
So anyway, I don't think he's as evil as people make him out to be, but I won't say that he's a cutie patootie. If you like him, good on you, I know what it's like to like a hated character. Still, I find Clint annoying...stop whining to me about being bitchless, dude... I do not care. It just reminds me of my amino days, when weird dudes complained about being single to me, in hopes I'd change that for them somehow... I guess that's my issue, though I don't want him to die for it. Just kinda want him to shut up and learn to talk to girls normally lol
