ᯓ⍟AARON TAYLOR JOHNSON as MAJOR WILL TRANTER
FUZE (2026)
I think Wild and Warriors both represent how it goes horribly wrong whenever the Hero of Hyrule becomes an official military position
to me there's really something about belonging to a generation of children whose star wars was the prequels, not the originals, not the sequels, whose shared formative childhood myth was not a hopeful one that ended in the defeat of evil and the birth of freedom, but rather a tragic one that took us halfway and dropped us in hell, at the nadir of civilization. lucas showed us to beware of greed, and the hardening of the hearts in fear and self-interest, the mechanization of people acting without empathy, the failure of mutual aid and symbiotic relationships. he depicted it in the way anakin chose his personal power and family over the good of everyone, becoming a fascist enforcer more machine than man, and the way palpatine first made the government worse and then instigated a war in order to get people to beg him to make it better through unilateral action. lucas warned us kids that money in politics would lead to liberty dying with thunderous applause, the empire rising, the jedi dying, the birth of the dark times. ultimately we have to borrow hope from baby luke to even put a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel, but his very infancy puts a clock on how long we have to endure the darkness. this is our shared childhood myth, one of ruin. at least it's a story that gave us a vocabulary and mental model to understand what's happening, but god i wish we were the ones who got to dance with the fucking ewoks on endor's moon instead
Sooo what are you gonna do with the new youtube law coming to Australia?
Kill myself!/jjj
Eh, look, even if I am barred from YouTube and can’t find a loophole, I’ll only have to wait 6 months until I’m legally allowed it back. So I’ll have a lot of time to think about angst and art :)
I think the rule might be that you can HAVE it but you have to be a certain age to be able to create. And idk about Tumblr.
Chat. I’m sorry. But you know what I hate. The god awful stuttering I see written when Bob speaks. Like 1.) Bob is not an “uwu im sad. im just a little boy and im so nervous all the time”. He is a grown man with very serious issues 2.) As in the movie, Bob does not stutter a whole lot 3.) You people have never heard stuttering in your life. For a majority of people, stuttering does not occur when normally talking, like in casual conversation. Stuttering occurs during big emotions, like being excited or fearful. Stuttering is not “t-t-talking like t-t-this”, stuttering is more of like repeating words. For example, “I saw a dog today and-and it was wearing a hat!!” Unless this person had a speech impediment, no one is going to excessively stutter every other word while they’re speaking
Just tips and tricks guys. Don’t make that grown man talk like a three year old
No but seriously how did you bake cement??? And by 'flubber', do you mean the semi-sentient being from that old Robin Williams movie
I tried to make cookies and they were so hard I took a bag of them to my friend to formally apologize for my failure to bake her decent cookies. She said it was okay and she would try them anyways and I said “please don’t” and she was like no really and I was like “no, really, please don’t” and I took one out and slammed it against the ground as hard as I could and it didn’t even drop crumbs.
Another time I tried to make cupcakes and they came out of the tray fine and went onto the cooling rack fine but then they just collapsed into like. Cupcake pudding? Somehow?? I put them into little paper cups and iced them like that and they still tasted pretty good so I called them cup-cakes so not a total failure.
And then one time I baked my mom a layered rainbow cake for her birthday and THAT actually set and iced just fine and tasted great, but when I went to cut her the first slice I found a spoon baked inside. Which made her laugh so hard she started crying, so I think that counts as a success
One of my very few baking successes though- and I am very proud of this one- was using an upside-down muffin tray to bake little pie shells out of chocolate chip cookie dough, which I then filled with cherry pie filling and covered with a chocolate chip cookie top, and handed out to my friends for Valentine’s Day. Those were decadent as hell
So anyhow I’m a pretty good cook but not a very good baker, is the thing. I try to avoid baking when I can
