Thank you for the feferi as an abuser thing. The fandom treats her way too well. Her naivety and ignorance doesn't make her less dangerous than any of the other trolls
thank you <33 i recognise some red flags in her & her position in society could bring things out in bad ways, especially given she was also raised with violence & to see herself as superior. i feel like analysing feferi as abusive is an interesting way at looking at well meaning people who do desire a lack of violence & to better the world with also a degree of narrowsightedness and insane amount of privilege and how they respond to the corruptive & damaging nature of power & growing up.
Feferi is like thirteen, so she could obviously change for the better, and she's already shown to be a very sweet person in many ways. But I am so compelled by the ways she could break down and how her narrowed perspective, power, ignorance, and trauma could be Bad too (Because I Like It When Things Are Bad).
I swear I don't hate her now I actually love her just not in the way most people do 😭😭
I just so happened to come across that article and I can understand why the author would go private but I don’t see any bashing? Also, on a list about the couples we want to go canon, they make it pretty clear they believe that it will actually go canon. The language would spark some “controversy” anyway because it does indeed ignore the canon couple lmao.
Let people ship what they wanna ship and stop your pointless, stupid, laughable “anti” ship police!
Shipping is harmless while cyber-bullying and death threats are NOT!
Okay, did anyone else feel like this week’s episode of WandaVision was just not,,,,,that great? Now don’t get me wrong, it was awesome to get more Monica and Darcy content, but just from a storytelling perspective, this episode was just an infodump that ruins all the mystery they’ve been building. They literally spelled out the answer to almost every question they’ve made us ask, and it’s not that I didn’t enjoy the episode and that the answers weren’t interesting and exciting, but it just left me kinda going 🤷🏻♀️ because now what? This episode just doesn’t fit in at all with the others, tone-wise, and giving everything away like that means it going to be really difficult to them to recapture the mystery. Maybe they’re done with the mystery, but I don’t think that would make for a very good story. The magic of WandaVision has been that we don’t know what’s real, and what’s going to stay real outside of her little town. The juxtaposition of a sit com and “what is happening” is what made it so new and interesting, but now we know exactly what’s happening.
Maybe they’ll end up taking the show somewhere totally unexpected and I’ll love it, but I’m a little trepidatious for now. Spelling everything out for the audience doesn’t usually lead to a very good and satisfying ending to any story.
Bold of that garbage anon to assume that race defines what a person can watch. And that’s the freaking tea sis
Every fandom has people who want to stir the pot, and I often think it’s less that these anons actually care about race affecting what we watch, and more about using a sensitive issue to spread discourse around. ☕️
the rules, as far as I can tell:
if you have a decent grasp of human anatomy you can plausibly deny being a furry
if you can draw anthros but not people then you have no recourse
