They gossiping about someone
bonus:
When I say what I mean, but others don’t hear it
This Literally Just Happened
Employee A: "Hi, Employee B." Employee B: *doesn't respond* Employee A: *shakes head and mutters* Me: *smiles* "He didn't hear you." Employee A: "Oh!" Employee B: "What?" Employee A: "Hi." Employee B: "Hello." Hearing people, it IS possible one of your own doesn't hear you sometimes. Stop assuming your volume is the same as everyone else's and stop jumping to the conclusion you're being ignored by a jerk.
Ear Update!
Here's what has happened so far. Basically, my doctor referred me to MT. Auburn, who (after a great deal of pushing from my mom cause the doctor was an ass) referred us to Mass Eye and Ear. We went to Mass Eye and Ear, the doctor realized that something is wrong- but not my hearing threshold. They said nothing about the pain/ dizziness. They also told me to take ASL classes, which I had started the week before (which are going really good, I'm actually catching on really fast- probably because I will need to use it to communicate but w.e). They then referred us to the Braintree clinic to get a certain test done. Mom called Braintree, who said they didn't have it but that they found some places that did, informed Mass Eye and Ear, and sent us back there. We called back and they referred us to Children's Hospital (in Lex) to get the test done. Mom called there to schedule the test, and they said we needed to get three tests done before this one test. After trying to fight it, I went to go pick up papers that needed to be filled out. Unfortunately, I am a college student so a couple of the papers (And tests?) couldn't be filled out. Frustrated (kind of a theme emotion at the moment), I was told to go to my doctor's office for help filling out the forms. When I got to my doctor's office today, they took the forms, tried to call Children's Hospital (of course getting no response) and said that they would try to figure out and that they would call my mom when they had an answer/ call back on Friday if we hadn't heard from them.
Basically, I have been on a very long, hectic, goose chase for answers which has only lead me to a couple what isn't the problem and no real answer as to what is going on with my ears. I am frustrated, because I want answers to this two (almost three) year long problem, especially before I go back to college. I'm tired, because trying to hear when your not hearing is difficult, and everyone assumes that I am hearing or that I am lying about not being hearing. Right now, I am just trying to stay positive....... while having to deal with a lot more than all of this ^ on this issue (there are problems with friends, and family, and school). So, I just thought that this update would help me, and those of you who were curious.
Person: blah blah blah blah Me: yeah I agree, totally understand 😒
