Angel’s Egg.
Watched Backrooms at the cinema of a dead mall that's only standing because of the cinema. Walking out we are immediately greeted by John Backrooms itself and die instantly of sheer heart attack.
This is, by far, the correctest way to watch Backrooms.
Okay, so this has been bouncing in my head for a hot minute. BloodyMary Night At The Museum AU. Simon as the security guard, because his past crimes have prevented him from working anywhere but a security place that hires ex-cons. Grace as the museum docent there because they have a sample of rare extinct microorganisms and he can't exactly study them anymore because he got kicked from his field. You know in the movie when Larry goes "ahah no you have to leave it's closing"? What if Simon insisted Ryland stayed??
Anyway. Might write a fic if I can balance all my writing!
not horror related, just Richard Harmon being scared of a small pig
NICOLE KIDMAN as GILLIAN OWENS in Practical Magic (1998) dir. Griffin Dunne
I just realized, halfway through outlining chapter 8 of my bloodmary fic, that because I decided to set the phm side of this AU in the early 1920s I have got to have Ryland deal with internalized homophobia before the bloodymary-ing can even happen.
(Simon, on the other hand, is just chill at having someone be kind to him and not a hallucination, so that's something.)
I don’t like to put personal negative stuff on here, so this is probably the only thing I’ll say about this matter.
But gee, ain’t it funny how transphobes get so pressed about me making a fictional hedgehog trans. Like it has any weight other than a fun fact.
