thank you for saving me from headaches on a daily basis
i feel like i've ended up needing to say this so often on an ibuprofen gimmick blog and idk if you literally mean every day but i do need to make sure everyone knows you're only supposed to take ibuprofen <15 days a month for headaches 😭 if you take it too often it can make your headaches worse and i've had to go off of triptans (a migraine specific rescue medication) because of this many times and it's not fun but if you don't go off it just keeps getting worse and it is Miserable. i do not recommend it
#asks#eggnoglin#not ibuprofen#rebound headaches are a whole thing and a bit controversial#cutting out all acute meds is probably not going to 100% fix you bc you have to be in a bad place to begin with to get rebound headaches#but taking more can definitely make you worse ow ow ow#if you are getting this many headaches you should look into preventative treatments#unfortunately what no doctor will be willing to tell you is that if you are on 4 preventatives and still getting daily headaches#sometimes you have to just roll around in bed trying not to cry#awesome stuff#sorry for ~traumadumping~ on my own tumblr blog i hope you still think i'm hot
