Bits.

I love a horse bit.

A good ol' shoving a horse bit into Whumpee's mouth and pulling them, walking them around on a leash, riding them etc.

Some bit ideas that are swimming around in my head:

Living weapon is being tested, the results of the tests only aiming to satisfy the scientists' curiosity and offer information for future--Projects. One of the tests, consists of putting Living weapon into an otherwise empty room, with a bit or a cord of some sort hanging from the ceiling. The goal is to see how long they can last hanging from their teeth on it. There are ways to force them to do that, of course.

Tying a Whumpee's arms behind their back and leading them around with lead rope and a bit/bridle.

Conditioned Whumpee who's used to wearing it, fidgeting around with the bit roller. (Love it for my centaur whumpees <3)

Tight bits used as a gag.

Whumpee having scars, or healed scar tissue from wearing a bit for too long.

Missing teeth or having teeth be eroded/ destroyed where the bit used to sit.

After rescue, even after recovery, whumpee absentmindedly puts pencils in their mouth to simulate the feeling of a bit.

AAAA AAAAAA TADC SPOILERS!!!! UUNDER the CUUUTTT!!!! RRRAAAAGHHH . . .

I know a lot of people view the part of him removing Abel as some kind of "lobotomy" or "taking away everything that made him bad", but personally I saw it as this, Caine absorbed able in an attempt to "fix himself" trying to be "perfect" so that he would be loved and accepted like he saw Abel was, even though it really just caused him to overlook what he was doing wrong because "i'm fixed now, so if i'm not doing this right that means i'm still broken! which wouldn't make any sense since able was perfect." so he performed and lied to himself up until when he realized he wasn't "fixed" and he couldn't handle that and lashed out at everyone. before he got deleted the "I JUST WANTED TO FULFIL MY PURPOSE" followed by "uh, wait" was him thinking about what he was saying verse what he was doing, so started his self-reflection in the void. the glitchy fighting with himself we saw, I don't think it was Abel talking as some completely separate entity, it was him holding on to his belief. and letting able go got rid of part of his control over the world, yes, but mainly it was him letting go of his act.

I do wish we got more out of him confronting the humans, cuz their reactions were surprisingly unsurprised even though they thought he'd died, also after having tortured them all too... andd, I want him talking to kinger or something, there's no way he'd be able to work through his trauma by himself. which is why i fill in the blanks in the credits with a lot of him explaining things to them, like the real reasons for the Escape the circus adventure, and why he crashed out on them. i also need fanfictions about this asap lol. :>

I don’t want to take notes from OP. But it also seems like currently even comments/tags off of silent reblogs aren’t getting connected properly to the most recent addition? Which seems like a bug if I’m reading the staff post right? So I guess I’ll just wait and see how this plays out, I really hope it gets rolled back in some way bc it sucks lol I do actually like the ability to see stuff like replies associated with the reblog it was made to bc sometimes those get very confusing but if it’s at the cost of not being able to see all the replies or reblogs in one place anywhere then it’s not worth it, it’s just bad quote retweets

Now she sat in his study, wrapped in one of his button down shirts she’d claimed after her shower, the fabric drowning her petite frame. Rather than sit at his desk, she'd opted for the couch - closer to the lit fireplace that warmed the room. Her laptop rested open against her thighs, a floor plan glowing on the screen while a graphing pad and pencil lay within reach. The newfound skill she'd found herself focused on learning had taken her attention entirely over the evening - so much so, she hadn’t realized how late it had grown until the unmistakable cadence of his footsteps threaded down the hall.

A soft smile formed naturally when her gaze lifted from the screen and met his, taking a moment for her eyes to shift across his face in search of any indication to how his last few hours had unfolded. "Long time no see," she murmured playfully, the words carried on more breath than voice.
