I’m not gonna lie, I’m starting to feel bad for liking Epic as it is. Of course there’s work to be condone and things to improve upon but I really like Epic for what it is and I’m starting to feel like it’s wrong for me to do so. Every critic and criticism that I’ve seen on here are all valid and it just makes me feel bad for not being bothered by the things the other fans bring up when they speak here. Which I’m glad this blog exists so that we can all give our takes in a safe space, but I can’t help but wonder (haha get it? Yeah, no- I’m not funny) if I’m a bad person or just dumb for liking Epic as it is

While I can't go through and retag old posts because I don't have the energy (chronic fatigue), for anything recent criticizing the fandom you can block:

And for anything criticizing Epic itself you can block:

Yes, everyone's opinions and critiques are important and if you're in a space where you can listen to them and still enjoy Epic feel free to do so. But if you're not, please take care of yourself. I've been in enough fandoms to know that while it's important to listen to critiques, if you can't handle them you should leave them be so long as you personally aren't being harmful about it.

This blog isn't to make people feel bad about liking Epic, this blog isn't to make people feel like they have to agree or disagree with all the people here to continue liking Epic.

This blog is somewhere where people can put their confessions and leave them be. A lot of the people who submit confessions enjoy Epic still. And yes there are problems, but there are problems in every fandom. Listen when and where you can.

A lot of people can't take criticism of something they enjoy, which is valid (so long as harmful stereotypes aren't being perpetuated in what the individual is doing).

And also, take a break from this blog if you need to, block it even, or submit confessions about what you like about Epic! This blog is for the likes as much as the dislikes!

The Newest Update...

Hey guys. (This isn’t part of the queue, obviously.) The newest update was pretty cool, I haven’t tried the Fighter class but I’m interested in trying it out later! The main concern for me, however, is the pictures...

... have a big, glaring QR code within them. This does sort of ruin the aesthetic to the pictures :< There are two workarounds I can think of--

One is to take a screenshot of the previous screen:

There’s just a circle there now.

Or I can crop it out:

Which looks fine in this case, because this example picture I took is symmetrical, but I don’t want all my pictures to be symmetrical, you know? There is also the fact that I wanted my pictures to look organic, no editing involved, but it loses that organic look when I crop.

So yeah, this is very frustrating. I’ll most likely be doing the screenshot option, but doing screenshots with my phone isn’t very intuitive because I can’t preview the picture I took (a lot of my pictures require timing, so having a quick preview helps a lot :<), which discourages me from taking more pictures.

That is all I want to say. Once the queue runs out (I think there are only 10-11 pictures in there), you guys will be able to notice the change. Thanks for sticking around anyway!

There’s another post in the queue with similar tags as to what I’m about to say so ignore it when it comes up bc I’m saying it now but I’ve been really out of it the past few days - I agree with this statement 100%, so if this is about something this blog has posted and not something that came up in the fandom, please tell me which post it is so I can remove it. I promise anything endorsing that was not intentional, just the result of feeling under the weather and clearing the inbox on autopilot.
