This is dumb. This is so so so dumb. But it’s actually a combination of two headcanons.

It’s my personal headcanon that Virgil has a collection of oddly specific stuffed animals, and that Janus collects chess sets.

But when they’re fighting, it’s a common thing for virgil to grab a crystal rook, and for Janus to grab a stuffed axolotl named Squish in retaliation, and they stand off like that. For hours.

Thomas: hey Virgil, Janus, I-... is this a bad time?

Virgil: no, we’ll deal with your problem as soon as Snake-face drops Squish.

Janus: I will be happy to release this ridiculous novelty, as soon as our darling little disorder unhands my rook.

Thomas just goes to each of them and takes the respective things away and returns them to the appropriate party.

A whole episode ensues.

This isn’t dumb at all, this is adorable! What other stuffed animals do you think he has?

So, I just finished the OVAs and I gotta say I really liked them. It reminded me why I love this anime so much, it had the flashy attacks, but it was the normal stuff, no dinosour killing or going super saiyajin. The matches were awesome, I liked the line-up. I won’t talk a lot, because I don’t want to spoil it for anybody who has not seen it.

I just want to say that, after this I really hope Kirihara becomes the next captain because it shows and reminds you of how much he has worked for that. Won’t deny I did not hate Eggy because he was actually cute, Bunta I love you for all the new names for Eggy, BUT this does not mean I want him to be the next captain of Rikkai, he would make a good vice-captain.

I won’t lie to you, I had the hopes of seeing Momo and Kaidoh watching the match, just as a little cameo and because I miss all of my kids, but the after credits gave me hopes for the future.

If you have the chance, watch them, they are good and I’m sure you’ll like them or love them like me.

Now I have to wait until Aug for the new dub, which scares me but I’m also excited
