Pet Peeve o’ the Week

When somebody writes about the programming language as JAVA, all caps. It’s Java. It’s a regular word, like the nickname for coffee, which is what its logo is a cup of. It’s not an abbreviation, and never has been.

The thing is that I see experienced Java coders write “JAVA” and I instantly wonder if they know what they’re doing.
