What it Means to be Liberal.
1. Open to new behavior and willing to discard traditional values.

synonyms - tolerant, open-minded, unprejudiced, enlightened
antonyms - bigoted, narrow-minded
1. Freedom from control, interference, obligation, restriction, hampering conditions, etc.;
2. Power or right of doing, thinking, speaking, etc. according to one’s own choice.
What does it mean to be a Liberal?
Being a liberal means you accept that other people don’t think like you but you debate with them or take part in dialogue around topics you do agree on that serves to broaden your understanding of your own beliefs.
Being a liberal means that you support people with things such as becoming transgender or when the come out as homosexual you don’t react in a negative way, Instead, support their sexuality.
Being a liberal means that you’re pro-choice unless somebody is getting physically hurt by the choices others make.
What makes you un-liberal?
If you pick on a white woman for wearing braids or dreadlocks, you’re not liberal.
If you boycott inoffensive cultural events at museums that are celebrating the culture being showcased (does anybody remember kimono Wednesdays and how people stood outside a museum for celebrating Japanese culture in an inoffensive way?), you’re not liberal.
If you partake in any personal racism against white people, you’re not liberal.
If you think all men are rapists, you’re not liberal.
If you’re trans-exclusionary, you’re not liberal.
If you can’t take a dissenting opinion, you’re not liberal.
If you argue that only specific people can wear cultural garb, and action which only further serves to segregate minorities, you’re not liberal.
95% of y’all are not a liberal.
So stop dragging our name into the ground by driving people to suicide through vicious posts against them. Stop arguing that obesity is healthy when it isn’t any way healthy if you want to live a long life at all. Stop trying to segregate minorities even further than they already are.
