Height: a good solid 5′3″, hasn’t changed since I was 14 rip

Languages: English fluently, French and German to a vaguely competent conversational level, beginner Spanish and Italian, and I have Dutch, Gaelic and Welsh going on Duolingo but I can only do the odd phrase

Favorite season: Summer or Autumn, I live near the sea so being able to go to the beach is great in summer, plus I get to wear my ridiculously big collection of dresses, but I love how cosy autumn feels with all the seasonal colours and the progression into jumpers

Favorite flower: sweet peas, my dad grows them and it’s my parents pet name for me so they’re very special to me, I even have a tattoo of one!

Favorite scent: freshly baked chocolate cake, for sure. Lot of happy memories

I mailed off 24 cloth masks yesterday, and another 20 today, and got more fabric at the indie quilt shop by our house to make more (They’re doing limited hours and wearing masks and have plenty of space, plus everyone in the sewing community is making masks like crazy). Zelda the dress form is currently wearing a half-finished silk blouse I was working on from my fabric stash, but I feel guilty sewing my own stuff when there’s an aircraft carrier under quarantine full of people who need masks.

And my awesome, very proactive MD wasted no time ordering the test. The whole clinic staff is like that. I’ve had good drs/clinics, and one clinic so shitty I’m still warning people away from them years later.

And everyone I’ve been in contact with for the last two weeks won’t get a phone call from a contact tracer and wonder who the plague rat was. And I won’t have to worry I’ve killed someone by accident.

The only bright spot to getting it would be being able to donate my plasma afterwards to help people hospitalized with it.

I still don’t understand how I got whatever bug this is...we’re mandatory masks everywhere, hubs and I have been wearing them whenever we go out, which is rare, since March. I have hand sanitizer in my bag, in my car, a little spray bottle of rubbing alcohol in my car, put both in hubs’ car, we wash our hands a lot. We were germ-conscious before the shitstorm. Maybe we’ll get some baby wipes, saturate them with alcohol, and use them to clean off keypads if the staff aren’t doing it (lookin’ at you, Kroger).
