So I need to ask about your hotdog tagline. Is that an actual quote from Shaun, and if so, where is it from. Never seen it before but it made me giggle.

I'm so sorry it's been literally years since you sent this and I've only just seen it! Yes it's an actual quote from Shaun, I was in Oxford while they were filming series 5 and I heard him say it to one of the crew - absolutely no idea what the context was but it was so funny that I just had to memorialise it!

It’s my comfort show. There will always be new fans trickling in. It was a hidden gem, not the same old mystery cop show. It has grace, and poetry, an unparalleled cast, and is utterly divine.

watching lewis itv is wild bc in a reversal of the stereotypical sherlock/watson dynamic, the main detective is a normie with good social skills and regular hobbies and it’s the sidekick who is an insane autistic bisexual failed catholic priest with childhood trauma.
