Deduction from your writing: you were a tomboy as a child growing up or you had a girlie best friend

Haha! Yes, I was very much a tomboy growing up (though my childhood was actually genderless for the most part, which could be why I'm so gender apathetic about myself these days). A lot of my clothes were hand-me-downs from family friends who lived in Germany and had kids a bit older than me, one boy and one girl, so I had whatever they sent over when they outgrew it. The burgundy corduroy dungarees were my favs though. I'd love a pair like that now!

I didn't have many friends growing up because my parents were relatively old when they had me, and their friends' children were all much much older than me, and I found it hard to make friends in school.
