My mom, playing Zelda Breath of the Wild next to me on the couch: "I love Akkala. It's the best. The land of eternal fall." Me: "Yah, I took so many pictures of it." Mom: "Oh you should take pictures of.. you know, real things! Why don't you take pictures of real life?" Me: "Because then I'd have to go outside." Mom, summoning her beloved fictional horse in the highlands of a beloved fictional world: "Oh. Yeah. Point taken."

I think parents might have a built-in subroutine that compels them to say things like "You should do things outside!" even as they themselves are playing video games.

Hi! I saw some screenshots you took from Dishonored 2 showing the drawings Emily did in the previous game, framed by Corvo i guess. Where in the game do you find them?? Thanks :3 btw your pics and gifs are really cool

Thanks so much for the kind words! The drawings are in the last mission (Death to The Empress) in Dunwall Tower, and if I remember correctly they’re in a small closet-like hallway just outside of Corvo’s room (which I think is why I assumed he was the one to have them framed). Then again I’m not gonna put it past Jessamine to have gotten them framed as a cute, cheeky gift to Corvo...

Gonna leave this out here in case anyone needs to correct my directions or has cute headcanons on how the drawings came to be framed :D

I started this sideblog because I love playing games, I love taking screenshots, and I love ruining those screenshots with terrible captions.

What about Reposting/Posting your shots elsewhere?

As a rule, I don't mind (extra love to all of the kind souls who ask permission first) and I ask that people credit me as the screenshot author. Linking back to me here or on Twitter is especially appreciated and probably earns you extra brownie points in the afterlife of your choice. 

I do ask that people don’t do a straight repost (as opposed to a reblog - reblogs are great) of my stuff on Tumblr because it deprives me of the comments/tags/fake-internet-points that make my day and give me warm fuzzy feelings about people and life.

Using my pics in your art, aesthetic posts, and other derivative works is A-OK and 1000% encouraged (though it would make my year if you credit my screenshots where applicable). Even if you just use my pics as reference, send me a DM or an @mention so I can love you forever and see your cool stuff.

Maybe! I take 1000s of pics that I never post because they’re crap, but they might be useful as an art reference. Send an Ask with what you’re looking for and I’ll see what I can dig out of my archives.
