People saying no romance between strawhats. Not between siblings such as Luffy,Zoro,Sanji, Nami,Usopp,Chopper pretty obvious. Since Franky and Robin were the parents, they sure can have romance between as that is what parents have or should have between them. Also Oda was clearly trolling by saying that Franky is the weird grandma because grandmas are older than the father and Franky is younger than Jinbe. Brook obviously can be the grandpa because of his age. Jinbe can be the uncle.

I also want to say sorry if I misunderstood your inquiry and you don't mind other Strawhat ships and was referencing other fans. But maybe if it's not you but someone else reading this, please know that whatever your opinion you are basically fine.
I never understood the sentiment of people saying "we can't ship the younger strawhats because they are like siblings!"
I don't see it like that.
That does not mean that your feelings towards any younger Strawhat ship is wrong! Your opinion is correct for you and many others agree!
But let me explain why I don't mind (most) Strawhat ships:
Most of them met as teenagers. My teenage years are long gone but when I met a person at that age I didn't think "I'm gonna adopt them as my sibling." I already had two siblings. That was more than enough for me.
My thoughts were "Those are my friends" or "I am attracted to them." or "I don't like them."
Sometimes all three for the same person?
This also wasn't neccessarily limited to people my age. Either way, not once have I found a friend in my teenage years that I adopted as an additional sibling.
First and most of all, the Strawhats are friends to me but with a strong bond that goes beyond that! Then you can decide for each two or more charactes how you want to see them. And you're never wrong!
Every interaction can be understood as romantic or platonic!
Which is why I feel like you can ship the younger strawhats with each other without any trouble.
That does not mean you can't see the Strawhats as a literal family, especially not in the AU that was provided by Oda!
But that is what it is, an Alternate Universe provided by Oda. That does not make it canon! You can decide how canon you want to see it.
But anon, please be aware that you should not cherry pick your canon! If you want to see the younger Strawhats as siblings because of this SBS, then you also have to accept the fact that Oda said that Franky is the perverted grandma now!
But if you say you see the Strawhats as siblings because that is how you read their interactions, then you are absolutely fine! Don't base your reasoning on flimsy "canon". Your opinion is correct to you and you don't have to give any reason as to why you see it like that!
I do agree that Oda did that to troll us! I feel like it's a decision to throw us a red herring. He tries to confuse us and to take some of the hints he gave us away again.
And I also agree that Jinbe should be the uncle. His whole being and personality scream "Cool Uncle" to me.
Oda really missed the mark here. What a troll.
