Reiko glanced at her PET and jumped, almost hitting her head. ‘Crap, it’s past 10?!’
“Urgh,” She crawled out from underneath the desk and stretched. This part of SciLab would be empty this late at night, with all the workers and scientists having gone home. She readjusted her headband and began shuffling down the hall towards the exit.
That was when she heard it. Footsteps.
Reiko froze. ‘But… No one’s supposed to be here…’
She turned around, squinting into the darkness. “H-hello? Who’s there?!”
