Loving fire is not the same as loving someone. Loving how someone makes you feel, it´s about yourself, not about the other person at all, it´s self-referential, nothing else. Self-destructive behavior is not the same as love; it´s only low self-esteem, not love or self-love. First he´s gotta learn to love himself before he can love someone else directly and he admitted he didn´t love her, but how she made him feel, he loved the fire not the person, like he loves adrenaline and chaos and pressure and pushing himself to the limit, he never said: ILY. Let´s get that straight, pls.

On the other hand, he said in the back alley that he wants to stop liking the place that represents Syd. It´s all about HER when it comes to what he loves, and about others as well, all those who work there and that would jump in front of a fucking train for her. It´s all about all the things SHE IS and he´s never gonna be.

It´s all about her, not only self-referential and egotistical. It´s exactly the other way around.

He´s just admitting he´s not ready for it rn, but not saying he doesn´t feel it or that he doesn´t like it. He just wants to stop liking it to protect her from himself and because he feels she doesn´t like him, and that she has the right to. But he won´t stick around to feel like that every day and twist the knife in his heart; he will go and try to love something else, something that loves him back and feels like peace. He will fail or not even make it out the door. Who knows? IK.

i would say yeah. and i’m not going to police whether or not that should be your boundary but i don’t think that should be grouped in with an accusation of sexual assault calling it the same thing.

i’m gonna be heading off to new plymouth for about a week tomorrow (i’ll b back next saturday) and i NORMALLY don’t have internet when i’m away so you probably won’t hear from me for a week

the Quakers and the Pilgrims are not the same! Pilgrims came first and while both were created in contrast to the Anglican and Catholic churches (not doing things like; Confessionals, Penance, Ordination, and Marriage). the Pilgrims were rigidly puritanical. also they believed in “pre-destination,” idea tht one's fate was decided before birth, in regards to heaven/hell.

the Quakers, however, believed in redemption, inclusiveness, and a personal connection with God. they were open to others, unlike the Pilgrims who believed theirs was the only way. the Quakers not only listened to those w opposing viewpoints, but they did so with respect and open-mindedness.

Quakers expended their focus on following the divine internal, as a collaborative group. they believed everyone was equal and tht humanity could work together to live simply and peacefully with practice. these are the beliefs tht still carry over into how today’s believers engage in faith.
