I watched *The Odyssey* and I went in with extremely low expectations- and I have to admit, I was blown away.

My low expectations were not low enough

I miss being more active on this blog, but I'm just not a fan if the whump tropes that have become more popular of late and it makes it hard to be enthused about engaging with the community

Jack woke up and chose violence today.

Just saw a Tumblr post for a show I have not seen, but apparently the creators said there wouldn’t be any romances between characters in the show. And the post came off rather “so since they said that, it’s OUR job to put it in there! We’re gonna ship everyone, wooooo! You get a romance and you get a romance and you get a whole love triangle-“

…you know characters can be ace, right? Characters can be aro. Characters can be friends. Romance is not the end-all be-all of a character’s journey. Just because two characters have a moment together or hug or even say they love each other does not mean they’re soulmates who need a Vegas wedding and a honeymoon in Hawaii. I’m honestly pretty tired of the end goal of most media being to make sure everyone has paired off and tied the knot. Sometimes people are friends.

I realize now that you mean like “turned on yourself” instead of “heard unintentionally” but when I got this ask last night my first reaction was “who’s forcing you to listen to music????”

According to my history it was The Village by Wrabel. I guess I was having some feelings about things😂

at first i thought yelling to you about pets meant pets™ as in pet whump but it seemed weird

he's a tiny baby dragon (pink dragon millipede)

i'm about to give him a slice of banana as a treat because I'm leaving him at home for the weekend

(he normally eats rotting leaves and sticks, sometimes dirt, sometimes he chews on the live plant in his enclosure too, the banana is a very special thing)
