today i learnt that, as a natural outcome of having "citation needed" as a joke, explainxkcd necessarily has "actual citation needed" for when an assertion needs citations. [citation no longer needed]

does anyone know why the most recent strip on explain xkcd is july 3rd's?

given the existence of explainingxkcd i will continue to post like i have, however to acknowledge the change in source articles will be linked as [Explaining xkcd] instead.

this could very well be a temporary measure so i will continue to percolate in the background on what to do or change going forward.

i reiterate my last post: i highly encourage anybody who also wants to make an xkcd feed to do so. this purpose of this blog is to provide a (petty) service and i am well aware that i'm imperfect at it. i believe having more than just me is a good thing.

because this blog is truly meant to be only an xkcd feed i've strived to keep it to that, and this is perhaps the most personal i've ever gotten. i'm thankful for the warm response i've gotten while i figured this out, but now it's time for me to return to being a non-presence here.

hi. i don't often make posts here. i'm just someone who runs an unofficial xkcd feed on a dying microblogging website, after all. but given today's xkcd i want to say:

backing the actions of a fascist government, no matter how pretty or righteous their justifications are, is the work of fools.

in the meantime - i assumed nobody needed my explicit permission, but if somebody was looking for it, if you want to make your own xkcd feed you can. given how sporadic i am, more is probably better.
