[was wandering through Oak Tree Town with his fishing rod and bucket to find a good fishing spot (he hadn't been to this town before), when he sees the young lady leaving the entrance of her home] 'Scuse me, miss,do you know anywhere that's a good fishing spot?

*At first, Elise gives the bandanna wearing man a look to say ‘who are you supposed to be?’ Of course, it wouldn’t be very ladylike to refuse all requests from peasants* I’ve never been fishing before, --such a dirty activity-- but I do know some of the peasants enjoy fishing by a bridge somewhere. It’s across the property of the peasant with the messy hair and the one trying much too hard to match my wardrobe.

Why do you come all the way out here for one though? Could it be where you’re from, you’re too poor even to fish? Ohohoho!

[sitting down cross-legged on the dock of Molly's pond on farm--unaware that it's hers, leaning his head against his hand and waiting for a fish to bite.]

[Walking towards the Garmon Mine district, noticing the man fishing in her pond. She tuts, stopping across the path to pick up a wild blackberry]

There are much better fish in there come Fall.

Fishing Spots [Joe/Renee]

Bait box in one hand and her rod resting on her shoulder, Renee left the ranch in high spirits. She had finished her work for the day and was in the mood to cook something with fresh fish! The sun was high in the spring sky and the brunette hummed softly to herself. She didn’t have to go very far, since she wanted to catch some river fish.

While she approached the rushing river, she noticed an unfamiliar man. At first she thought it was Luke, but quickly realized it wasn’t. Calmly, she approached the man and chose to place her things down a bit away from him. “Hello,” she said sunnily. “It’s a lovely day for fishing, isn’t it? The fish here are always really healthy, too!”

Carefully, she attached the bait she brought onto her hook. After checking the line to make sure there were no knots or snags, she cast it out into the river. After that was done, she looked back to the stranger and said, “I’m Renee. I hope you don’t mind some company!” She herself wouldn’t mind that at all, considering that she did fish with Toby a lot of the time. It always got just a bit lonely if she were by herself.

[walks into the restaurant from the snowy outdoors and goes to the counter] Uhh, yo! Mind giving some directions? Was passing through town but ... not exactly sure what town this is.

[ was polishing a glass at the counter when she heard the door open ] … 

[ smiles ] Hi! You happen to be in the cozy little village of Echo. Mind telling me where you’re headed, sir? I could point you in the right direction.

Nah, just wanted to pop in and say hi!

Uhhh. [Blinks, unsure what to say for a moment, before turning back to her regular grin.] Well hi!  ♪

[Turns to face the familiar voice, giving a large wave when she sees the man.] Hey to you! ♪ Need something?

Don't Build Them Like That Anymore | Sara and Joe

Sara sighed as she put the last of the spinach harvest into crop storage.

She couldn't believe it. All that advice and hard work had paid off. She had a winter harvest, and if prices held up, she'd break even for the winter. If prices rose just a bit, she might even be able to afford her house upgrade.

The world was looking bright!

After calling the union, she heads out to check her mail, surprised when she sees a familiar face on the horizon.

"Joe!" She waves. "Up this way! Howdy there!"
