my all-time ultimate fave character: I’m completely obsessed with Schneider but also Penelope means so much to me, I can’t pick
a character I didn’t used to like but now do: Schneider. i didn’t hate him but for a lot of S1 he just did not impress me much
a character I used to like but now don’t: Victor
a character I’m indifferent about: Jill
a character who deserved better: most of them? Schneider from his parents, Penelope and Elena from Victor, all the Alvarezes from a stupid racist world…I love them all so much. gonna go with Carmen, though, who lost her parents and also just never came back :(
a ship I’ve never been able to get into: Penelope/Jill
a ship I’ve never been able to get over: Penelope/Schneider HELLO
a cute, low-key ship: Elena/Syd are my adorable geeky faves
an unpopular ship but I still enjoyed it: I actually liked Pen/Victor right up until I didn’t. They have good chemistry and you can see why they worked, before it fell apart.
a ship that was totally wrong and never should have happened: Schneider/Nikki
my favourite storyline/moment: Penelope’s mental health arc in 2x09. They handle it so beautifully and it hurts me to watch it and I cry every time. Just like the season 2 finale, it also reveals great new layers for the characters, which I adore: Schneider turns out to be the kind of friend who doesn’t lash out in a fight, Lydia struggles hard to understand her daughter and keeps trying to help, and Penelope becomes everything to me and shows who she trusts and why.
a storyline that never should have been written: Nikki is ick. But mostly, I still wish Victor’s S2 return hadn’t involved him convincing Alex to lie to everybody and see him in secret. I get that he used their time together to try and talk sense into his father, but it still just bothers me.
my first thoughts on the show: hey this is cute why am i crying?
my thoughts now: the world and most of all me NEEDS this show to exist and if it doesn’t get a S3 i’m gonna pull a penelope and ‘accidentally’ set something on fire.

an unpopular ship but I still enjoyed it: both Max/Lorelai and Christopher/Lorelai even though I can also give you the itemized list of why they’re objectively horrible
a ship that was totally wrong and never should have happened: Marty/Rory, I know it didn’t actually happen but I would like to remove that entire arc anyway thank you it’s so annoying
my favourite storyline/moment: the Luke/Lorelai arc from 1x01 to 4x22. makes me ridiculously, endlessly happy
a storyline that never should have been written: basically Rory’s entire story in AYITL. I don’t agree with any of it? though the Life or Death Brigade reunion scene was astoundingly gorgeous in a movie musical way
my first thoughts on the show: wait how does everything about this season 4 finale make perfect sense to me when i’ve never seen this show before? i love this weird town and these fast talking women and THEY’RE KISSING OMG
my thoughts now: if you don’t know this is one of my top two shows for life then you’ve never spoken to me before or glanced at my url and if you give me too much of an opening i will spend the next week telling you why
