I'm looking through some clothes to see what I can get, but my parents keep saying they don't trust any of these sites because they think it's scam. Is it all trustworthy? I don't wanna put any of their stress on to me on to what I buy.

i really wish that folks who sent asks like this specified which sites they were talking about bc i post from like...hundreds of different websites but i’m going to assume that your parents are specifically afraid of wholesale websites, since that seems to be the general overarching trend?

i think there’s a huge stigma against chinese owned websites, especially in america, and it’s fueled by a lot of misunderstandings and political weirdness, but i buy from chinese wholesale places a lot. 

i suggest looking at my wholesale tag, since this is something i discuss a lot on this blog, and this post in particular since it’s a really good primer/overview about wholesale websites, as well as looking through my review tag to see if the websites you’re looking to buy from is something i’ve already written extensively on.

edit: i actually just checked out your blog, and just the last couple of things you’ve reblogged from here--there’s 3 wholesale places on there, which is what the majority of my advice in this answer applies to, but on top of that you’ve reblogged from etsy and storenvy (which are both really reliable, especially the few sellers you have on there), dollskill (which i’ve ordered from several times and have had absolutely no problem with, they are an extremely popular site and i’ve never seen anyone have issues w/ them) and then my shop itself (which i know 100% isn’t a scam site since i run it lmfao) so hopefully that’s a bit more advice for you, but definitely check out that entry in my FAQ to get more of a sense of what i post/its reliability! i don’t post from anywhere that i wouldn’t buy myself, and always research places before posting from them.
