Artist #Not4Prophet was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the #SouthBronx and #EastHarlem. He is a community activist, underground-Hip Hop MC, political punk rock singer, graffiti writer, poet, and barrio bard. At #SouthBronxLoveLetter with @bxartsfactory this Saturday, Not4Prophet will be telling true stories about his life in the Bronx and performing songs from his new album, “Labor of Love: A Tribute to Joe Hill." The songs fuse hardcore #hiphop and furious #folkmusic, and pay tribute to #JoeHill, an immigrant songwriter and labor organizer who was executed in 1915. Not4Prophet and Kid Lucky last night NOT4PROPHET was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and raised in East Harlem and the South Bronx in New York City. He is a dirt roots community activist, underground-Hip Hop MC, political Punk Rock shouter, graffiti writer, off-peak-hours actor and last but never least, a poet and barrio bard.  Not4Prophet has released several indie music CDs with his bands, X-Vandals and Ricanstruction, has published a book of poetry and articles/essays in several periodicals, is the star of a multi-award winning feature film, teaches “resistance writing” to those identified as “the homeless” at the Homeless Organizing Academy, located in the South Bronx section of New York City, and continues to diligently organize in the “hood”.  www.agitrap.com
