Right now, if I were a main character in this book called life. I'd put that book down and go do something else (probably just Facebook)... (that's pretty sad)
I'm waiting...
I'm waiting for this boring moment of the book to end. All I do is sit/lay down in bed and surf the internet.
I'm waiting for the time to fly and I get to move out and start a new adventure. Finding a new job, making new friends and well learning more.
But, my addiction is bad. What if I spend all this free time ignoring my goals and ignoring my priorities and just never stop using the computer?
This is what i'm nervous about.
Like any addiction, it's hard to give up.
You do it every day, you face it every day.
This is how we connect and talk to one another.
But heres the thing, this isn't living. This is boredom. I constantly think about how someone can go from being bored and spending every waking moment on the computer, then all the sudden, life picks up... You do something new, you move out, you get a new job, you go to college, you go to parties, you go to concerts, you have this different and enriching new moment of your life which somehow, somehow becomes a turning point, and most of the time, the computer isn't involved. Why do we stay on the internet if we're bored? I think the internet made me personally, very lazy.
Now, if this was a story about me. I believe there wouldn't be a climax to this story, until I turn 50 and have that horrible mid-life crisis. Maybe, i'll be a divorcee, maybe i'll be a grandma (hopefully not).
Wow, I went from being a main character in a book to how technology made me lazy to becoming a grandma...
See If you don't pay attention you loose yourself and don't stay on track.
Obviously I created the above to show you a point. Not paying attention to life and well getting off track, makes you lost.
Technology sucks.
This generation spends too much time on the computer. I hope I don't spend my whole college experience on the computer. GOD.
Time to face reality...
Life doesn't have to be spent on the computer every day of your life.
This includes iPads and iPhones and any kind of tablets/electronics.
