YEA OK DAR ASKED ME FOR GANGREL HEADCANONS AND I CAN'T REFUSE GANGREL, PLUS I HAVE TO DO THE LONGEST (the basil) FOR THE LAST

eating: gangrel likes making fun of the food. i mean, yeah, he cleans his plate, but he likes pointing out EVERYTHING that's wrong with it; not because he hates it, mind you, but he's just really the devil's advocate. he doesn't like showing how much he really likes the food, and sometimes, he gives gaius some sweets so that gaius could steal some of the food and give it to him at night for midnight snacks. he also HATES it when the food isn't arranged well, for some reason, and ends up fixing his so it looks really nice and attractive.

friends: gangrel doesn't really hang out with much people, save for tharja, henry, and aversa, and even then he doesn't hang out with them for too long. he and henry get along really well because henry was one of his personal favorites, and he legitimately enjoys henry's magical power and his sense of humor. he and tharja are good friends, too, but not best friends like henry and gangrel are; sometimes they creep each other out but that's what makes them compatible--tharja still calls him "king gangrel" and he loves that. aversa and he hang out and are closer than they pretend to be; he's still pretty wary of her, though, because even though he won't admit it, he's p hurt at her betraying him. they like engaging in insult contests ok

sleeping: GANGREL DOESN'T SLEEP he has nightmares every night and he hates having nightmares. he usually stays up all night and the only time he sleeps is when he takes power naps. it's really unhealthy and he knows it but he really can't stand remembering the people he's killed. he acknowledges he's an awful person, but he doesn't, like, want to validate it even more with his nightmares.

opinions on chrom: hE'S REALLY JEALOUS OF CHROM??? like a lot of people love chrom and fear him at the same time, and the dedication people have to chrom makes gangrel really jealous. gangrel actually likes pulling pranks on chrom, and sometimes chrom gets tired of it and asks frederick to deal with gangrel. gangrel acts like an innocent baby but then again he's gangrel and everybody knows he did it. he also likes messing up chrom's tent

romance: WHWEEEZES gangrel gets really excited when he's with the person he loves. like idk he pretends that he's HARDcore, that he's embarrassed with their words of love, but then again he always ends up shouting "YOU dont have to say that you LOVE ME all the time gosh" and he emphasizes the "YOU LOVE ME" and shit like that oh my god?? hes like a giddy schoolboy though and he always comes home with flowers and kisses them a lot and he likes.....being poetic in a weird way....kind of like virion but with a twinge of henry's humor i guess??

extra: GANGREL'S REALLY PICKY ABOUT HIS CLOTHES AND HIS NAILS OK he hates it when he breaks a nail or when his clothes get dirty, he's a big baby like that. and also he sings in the bath a lot and people like to make fun of him for that and he's just like ugh what a bunch of losers
