Not as clear of an image as the last with some blurred star motion and noise, and I have no idea why the southeast was so yellow at 1:30a - far from towns and sunrise hours away, but all my photos looking that direction were so. There was a light breeze that left Chicken Spring Lake looking fuzzy and me cuddled in my bag - the glass of a still morning to come later. It was difficult to sleep with this view. I watched the Milky Way cross the sky for a few hours... somehow, in the cold dark, a few mosquitoes found me (I saw none all day). But I persisted, and the longer I looked, the more stars I saw. Eventually I became convinced there was no black, nothing empty, only varying degrees of light. Another view of Eagle Falls, this time from the bottom (the best view, IMO - I never understood risking your neck to climb to the top of falls).
