Maybe anyone else would hate to be cooped up, to have their boyfriend keeping an eye on them -- but honestly? It’s kind of nice. Much better than her parents keeping her on lock down, which would be next to impossible since she didn’t tell them there was anything to be concerned about. As much as her mother could probably help, it’s not that serious, and all Kira wants is a night in with rest and to spend that night with Scott. He makes keeping inside feel like a treat rather than a chore.
“ You know, the only thing we’re missing right now are some good snacks. If we’re going to be inside for the next few hours we could use something to munch on. ” But that would require one of them getting up, and Kira is clinging to Scott’s shirt with one of her hands to keep him in place. It’s comforting, touching him in some way, and she doesn’t want to let go just yet.
