If the Ministry of Education OBJECTED to the questions and IDB still left them in the test how can they claim they were ‘inadvertently’ left in? So you mean that after the objection was made no amendments were done? No final copy of the test was submitted for proof reading & approval? Maybe the MOE expected IDB to act in good faith. However they did not. Today we have the IDB tending an apology. “Sorry……No offence intended” This apology itself is offensive. This ain’t cutting it!! The ball done drop and roll in the gutter!! This act by IDB can be viewed as extremely disrespectful to the Ministry of Education whose concerns were blatantly disregarded. Citizens expect the MOE to act in the best interest of the nation’s children. Parental consent was not sought for the invasive, personal & psychologically triggering questions to be asked. The MOE did their due diligence by objecting. IDB knows this yet they still crossed the line. If IDB wishes to restore the TRUST that we have lost in them All data collected from this test should be declared null and void! They need to be held to account.
