As the proud mama of the two best bunnies in the world, I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that rabbits are not Easter gifts. 80% percent of rabbits given as gifts for Easter will be given to a shelter, released into the wild, or killed. Rabbits are a commitment, needing their own vet, a whole bunny proof room, proper food and toys, regular grooming, and more attention then your cats or dogs. Rabbits do NOT enjoy being held or picked up, especially by young childeren. For this Easter I'd stick with a stuffed or chocolate bunny instead. All I ask is that if you are serious about getting rabbits, do it the right way. Do your research, and adopt. Don't shop.
