Guys, I have something to show you that will change your life. This is Notebook.ai. Notebook.ai is an online writing tool that allows you to create profiles for characters, places, objects, animals…
This week I’m sharing one of my favourite writing resources. There are a few like it out there, but it’s the best one I’ve found for creating character profiles and keeping track of the links between characters, objects and places.
I’d love to hear if people have alternatives, or resources for other parts of writing!
About a year ago I started drawing people’s OC’s on notebook.ai because i was bored and here’s some of the ones I’ve done on my free time! (shown oldest-newest) I’m surprised that I didn’t think to post these here before lol
I’m writing a story!! You can find me at notebook.ai as call_me_ep. It’s about a girl who finds out her uncle may have murdered Yasi Granger, a singer and actor. Also it takes place inside the sun. Go check it out for more details!
Notebook.ai / Getting Ready for NaNo
For the past 5 years, I’ve been working at a startup I founded. It has consumed my life, and this year, I made the tough decision to walk away. This means a lot of huge changes, and one is that I have the time and energy to start writing fiction again. This year for NaNo, I’m beginning what will become my first novel since Stray released in 2013.
My partner just sent me Notebook.ai, and it looks like the worldbuilding tool I’ve been wanting forever: a place to organize all my characters, locations, events, items, and lore. If you’ve used it, what do you think? Do you recommend it, or is there another tool you like better?
I’m also looking for as many good character dossiers as I can find, specifically those suited to science fiction and fantasy worlds.
After my wedding at the end of September, I’m planning to outline this book in October, get my 50,000 words for NaNo written in November, and finish the draft by January 15th. I can’t wait to begin.
GUYS
Ok so I was just screwing around on the Internet, and found this FANTASTIC website. It’s called Notebook.ai and it’s seriously the best.
You can create universes, worlds, and characters.
I’ve been using it for my book (read it plz shameless self promo rn) and it’s helped me get my stuff together so well.
I’ve gotten so much stuff done on it in such a short period of time it’s unreal.
It’s super easy to navigate and the best part? ITS 100% FREE.
It’s srsly the best, go check it out.
I wish there was a computer program that functioned like toyhouse or notebook.ai. I'd like to have a resource like that that didn't require an internet connection or run on a website. It would seriously help me keep all my notes organized in one place on my hard drive.
I don't have the skills to make such a thing myself. And all the similar things I've found are website-based.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Waiting for someone to respond 😂
