Unplugging
I'm heading out to DC this weekend and I think it'll be a good time for me to unplug from technology and concentrate on the present. I'll print out some teen pregnancy articles or borrow some books from the library and stay off my phone. I'll also skip out on bringing my laptop entirely. It's time to refocus after realizing that I can't continue to be so addicted to my computer. I've run out of things to read and look at on Facebook, Tumblr and all the blogs I follow. I've resorted to just looking at the same things multiple times, which is pretty pathetic to say the least.
It's also scary to think about the plasticity of our brains and how it can be rewired with our habits over the years. I gotta regain from easy scrolling pleasure and work towards something again.
