I get the feeling that a lot of the commenters you're responding to are conflating the Kim regime with the North Korean people; the two have vastly different interests and goals and to say the US is an immoral aggressor for attempting to deny North Korea nukes and legitimacy in the international system is actually to support the violence and oppression of the Kim regime against its own people. Just because the US doesn't have the moral high ground doesn't mean the Kim regime is the good guy.

This seems to be the core of the argument, that the North Korean people benefit from Kim Jong-Un possessing nukes in some way.

question: which is scarier? space or the ocean

i know theres that post going around that says the ocean, but it’s definitely space.

the reason why the ocean is scary is because we know some of the shit thats down there and its horrifying. what’s scary about space is what we don’t know. think about how fucked up the shit in the ocean is, and we share a common ancestor with those monstrosities.

whatever’s out there isn’t limited by DNA, living in H20, Earth’s gravity, etc. the only reason why people aren’t as scared of space is because we haven’t found our first fucked-up space creature yet.
