Township Frekwensi on stage after 7 years

This update is a few days late but I cannot sit on the excitement especially since I'm still feeling it till this day. 23rd June 2012 saw Amu, Nothende, Wikid & Mr Selwyn get together as Township Frekwensi at the notorius Stage Nites show. Their set was filled with hit tracks such as "Attention", "Shake", "Better Days", "The Man" amongst many and each man (and woman) came to the show. The beautiful fusion of rhyme schemes and flows from each member saw the stage light up with the fun contained in the group. Nothende even stepped up to the plate by rapping too! Whatchu know about that? They say all is well that ends well and Saturday night was a true example of this. Professionalism and artistry above all else came through for the audience after some minor technical glitches with the promoter/organiser of the show backstage which almost led to the crew canceling their performance. There is no doubt however that the Township Frekwensi crew has still got it 7 years later and they are only getting onto the ball. Contrary to popular belief, they never broke up but each individual found themselves on their own paths of solo careers. According to my personal holding, I think a group of strong personalities is a great package in the music world. This allows audiences to intertwine, music to be shared and expressed on various levels as well as a rare fusion of greatness. Stay tuned for more offerings from the collective. Till then the question remains: "Do you think you can get down with this crew?"
