when i was a kid in the late 90s i would call up one of my elementary school friends on the landline at night and we would both watch a tv show and talk about it at the same time which is like a discord watch party and then we would go to the playground the next day to talk about the tv shows we watched with everyone else which is like tumblr

I’m not sure what I expected for the new year but my resolution should be to get use to being alone. Which I guess sounds over dramatic. But how long has it been. How often do I go long stretches without seeing anyone.

Sometimes I'm shocked by the nasty creepy guys that people will swoon over, but then I remember that there was literally a whole sex cult around Rasputin. Like there was a substantial number of people who looked at this gross, ultra shady dude and were like yeah, I wanna fuck that.
