Stuck with you -Sora and Lapis-
Stress isn’t fun. Being a student brings with it the obligatory amount of stress that could K.O. anyone in a short time; Running from one place to another, while not looking to dead upon arriving at the designed destinations seemed almost mandatory in a student’s life. It had its calm moments as well, still. But for Lapis, those moments seemed too far to reach. Being a freshman, she wasn’t aware of how university life would be, but she saw herself forced to get used to it quickly.
Trying to take deep breaths, making her look and sound like an old dog gasping for air, the girl was running to one of her classes. For a reason unknown to her, she had overslept, which gave her little to no time to get to class on time. Halfway through, she realized that only magic could make her get there on time, as her classroom was farther away from her dormitory than all the others. Accepting this, she decided to take it easier, while still hoping to not get too late. So, instead of taking the stairs she chose an elevator. It seemed a wise at first, considering she wouldn’t run out of breath when she got to the right floor. Entering the elevator, there was only one other person there. He seemed around the same age as her, perhaps a bit younger, yet she couldn’t remember having seen him before. Eventually, as per social regulations, she decided to start a conversation. “H-“ Her greeting was, however, interrupted by a strange noise and movement in the elevator. It didn’t take her long to realize that it had stopped.
At that moment, Lapis remembered why her mother called elevators ‘machines of despair’. Taking a loud breath, she continued her conversation starter. “Hey. Looks like we’re stuck.” With little to no eye contact, the young photographer was stuck in place.
