Okay, I am totally dating myself here. I loved Battlestar Galactica as a little girl. It was my first introduction to sci-fi. I remember the first time I watched it was in the basement at my cousins house. I remember watching Apollo and Starbuck climb into their Vipers ready to defend the freedom of the human race. They launched out into space with those lights streaking past. That launch tube is still the first image in my mind when I think of space travel.
