I only just pieced this together

Hit is U6's equivalent of Tien.

A lot of characters from the mirror universe of Dragon Ball fit into this structure.

Frost was the equivalent of Freeza.

Cabba is the equivalent of Vegeta.

Caulifla is the equivalent of Goku.

Following this, compare Tien and Hit. Both reserved, trained assassins. They wear long following outfits with consistently neutral fighting stances.

Hell, they both beat Goku in tournaments.

They both were hired to kill Goku.

Tien is Hit's equivalent.

Which makes the end of Super even more depressing because they'll never get to share more words together.

Is it just me or is DNA like… the heart of the dumbass squad??

Okay so I’m gonna be rambling PLEASE bear with me

I was looking at Phantom’s stories and thinking about the card suits… D’s is a heart. Which makes sense, he’s a flirt and shit

BUT.. then I began to think about how the relationships between the squad members

And every single one of them met D first.

Gal?? In the battle nexus. Mari?? D attacked them. Cy?? …We never exactly established how they met BUT I’m assuming Cy met D first based on our interactions

DNA is the one who brought them all together, one way or another. DNA is the one who connected them, the one who keeps everyone together.

And what happened the moment D was gone?

Everything began to fall apart. The gang couldn’t keep theirselves together anymore. The “body” began to crumble the moment the heart stopped functioning.

Mari ended their life, Cyclone became reckless which became her demise, and Gal became a broken man who could only cling onto his son as his last connection to his beloved.

DNA is the heart of the body. The center of the group, the king of the kingdom, the sun of the solar system, the string holding them together, YOU NAME IT.

And when the heart faltered…

Everything else fell.
