Lowkey I had some "great hack" when it comes to Notion. Someone mentioned it on some discord server that i was in and it's honestly pretty solid. They said something in the lines that "if you hate scripting on notion due to how it works and etc, especially when it comes to stuff like text and formatting, but still want to create a script on notion, the best way to solve that issue is by not scripting on notion" but in the sense of creating the format outside of the app and THEN screenshotting it and putting on the site.

As for example ( I tried it out)

Tumblr to Notion. & Docs to Notion.

Basically script and make it pretty outside on a site that you really like to use (ex : Tumblr, carrd, or Google docs) then screenshot it and put it on notion.

Idk if it's stupid but it's an option (especially when it comes to pretty and different fonts that are not available on notion ) 🤷‍♀️

How did you do the bar timer tbing on notion?

A website called “ indify ” ! You just need to log in with your Notion account / email , and you can have six free widgets that you can customize a bit :) . There’s a lot of different styles of widgets , like calendars and weather . . and I think the time one is somewhat motivating ^^ !

can anyone with a solid understanding of notion teach me to import a google calendar into a notion calendar? i'm the most beginner of beginners at notion (the template was made for me even lol) so the more detailed the better :')

i saw your reblog about notion font sizes and wasn’t sure if you knew that you can customise the text via code(?idk if that’s the term you’d use).

$$\tiny\text{text}$ —> $$\tiny\text{text}$$ (add extra $ after writing your text)

for custom font colours. to increase size back to the default replace tiny with scriptsize.

$$\color{7D9A8E}\tiny\text{text}$ —> $$\color{7D9A8E}\scriptsize\text{text}$$

for colour block.

$$\scriptsize\colorbox{7D9A8E}{text}$ —> \scriptsize\colorbox{7D9A8E}{text}$$

*only thing you can’t do is bold, italics, or underline so use fonts for that. the built in font colours and highlights won’t work when you use the “codes”.
