#Repost @drlouisewrites with @get_repost ・・・ Today was a steep learning curve for me at a photoshoot surrounded by fabulous women and an amazing photographer. I was not expecting to have as profound an experience as I did but at the beginning the photographer wanted to talk to me about me (!) and what I thought about me (!) and what we could achieve with the photos. I am normally concerned with other people, my children, my family and friends, the ladies in my book and the work I have to do. I realised while talking to him how I have carried ridiculous insecurities without realising. Why is that? What does it achieve? What has it achieved? Has it helped me? Do you have insecurities? Does it assist you in any way to keep them??...I would believe not for all of us and as the shoot began I started to relax and by the end now feel so sure that some of those feelings just have to be let go. To be alive is amazing, to be happy is wonderful so why carry baggage?
