I can’t say how I’m feeling without crying. Even the mundane things, it’s so limiting my body makes me sick. I had to mentally prepare myself to say, “I don’t like missing school, it makes me anxious” and as soon as the words left my mouth, tears started flowing out. I’m not sad. I’m not angry. Why can’t you work you piece of junk!! GOD it’s so annoying! And then I ACTUALLY get annoyed and then the ANGRY TEARS start coming out! I’M NOT FUCKING SAD STOP CRYING AND EVERYONE THINKS IM SAD WHEN IM NOT AND THEY START TREATING ME LIKE A TODDLER BECAUSE aw little baby got butthurt over expressing his feewings! Wemme give him a hug! NO I FEEL SO NEUTRAL I AM LITERALLY EXPRESSING THE MOST MUNDANE THING!!! GAHHH

I wish I could just rip my soul out and shed this shell I wear and create a physical form that is exactly me and works just like how my mind works so I don’t have to act anymore and pretend like I’m just fine. Idk which ones worse, lying or being shackled

Why Wait? - Reasons from Scripture

Why does the Catholic Church teach its followers to wait until marriage to have sexual intercourse? A good place to turn to for reasons why the Catholic Church does anything is to look at the biblical significance. There are three important reasons why the Catholic Church thinks that waiting until marriage is important because of the biblical proof.

The first reason is to not indulge in sexual immortality like the rest of the world. This is a quote from 1 Peter 4:3…

For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do–living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.

The Catholic Church takes this quote and sees that Peter does not approve of a highly sexual lifestyle.  Peter does not think that the followers of Jesus should be distracted by lust.  The Catholic Church understands sexual activity to be distracting for their followers, thus people should only be sexual for reproduction.  This will separate the Catholic followers from the rest of the world because of their strong dedication to following their religion and becoming better people through Christ.  

The second reason to wait until marriage is because your body is not your own.  This teaching can be seen within Romans 12:1…

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

The Catholic Church therefore believes that followers of the religion carry a piece of God within their body.  This idea means that followers must be respectful, and do only as God would do on Earth.  If the Catholic peoples’ bodies belong to God, then keeping them pure would be an important commitment.  

The third reason to wait until marriage is because the scripture directly instructs it.  This teaching can be seen within Hebrews 13:4…

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

This piece of scripture is a very clear sign to the Catholic Church that followers of Christ should not have sexual relations until marriage.  This verse shows that the Catholic Church believes that a marriage will succeed if the both people have not indulged in sexual activity before the wedding night.  

Overall, the Catholic Church looks at pieces of scripture to interpret how their followers should act regarding sexual activity before marriage.
