12. Have you ever been disappointed when your ship finally got together?: Not that I can actually recall? Though that probably stems a lot from the fact most of my ships aren’t going to become canon ever. That’s ignoring the fact one ship became canon of sorts but ended with one turning into an animal and staying that way while he watches over her. *sobs* why? i just wanted my baby to be happy.13. Has a ship ever broken your heart?: WE DON’T TALK ABOUT THE EMOTIONS I FELT CONCERNING ANGEL AND BUFFY’S BREAK UP OKAY? Or the first time I watched Usagi and Mamoru break up. Before I honestly started thinking in depth about how lame a response it was. I have so many mixed feelings about original dub UsaxMamoru14. How do you feel about will they/won’t they?: It depends, in all honesty. It has to be done very, very well other wise I just want to bash my head on the nearest hard object. I mean, come on!15. Have you ever “shipped at first sight”?: Several times. Actually, when you have an Usagi muse (however quiet she is) it’s hard not to? A couple of my favourite pairings came about that way. Including one thanks to you~16. Talk about a ship you initially disliked: TBH I don’t really have one? Most of the ships I ended up disliking from the start I have continued to dislike. Usually for a multitude of different reasons. If I had to list any of them for the sake of this question, it would probably be the ship of Usagi and Rei from the original American dub. I still honestly can’t stand the ship much because of it? The way they handled their “friendship” is terrible. As some one who has had friends treat me the same shitty way dub Rei treated dub Usagi... That is not a healthy relationship in any way. And to think that the director of the original anime shipped the two of them, I can’t understand how? She actively treats Usagi like shit and that is not cool.17. Talk about a pairing you’ve stopped shipping romantically: Ran and Shinichi, hands down. Partly because I am kind of sick of the whole “best friends as eventual lovers” sort of thing. But also, again, because I don’t like how the characters on either side are being treated? Ran, mostly, due to how the creator is handling her but Shinichi mostly because I do not approve of how she handles him and his interests? Like she literally gets so tired of him talking about Sherlock Holmes, and I get that? But at the same time I also feel like Shinichi might be neurodivergent and with that in mind, Sherlock Holmes seems to be his special interest and of course he’s going to want to talk about it. Also he is a person who throws his whole self into his work and considering being a detective is really the only thing about him that doesn’t change even with the whole Conan thing, it would stand to reason that it kind of comes first? I don’t agree with him lying to her and being right there (kind of falls into the bs that was Mamoru breaking up with Usagi over a nightmare sent by his future self) but at the same time he was only doing what he thought was best at the time. And it’s a little harder to talk to her about that then it is for Mamoru to tell Usagi he dumped her because of a dream. I could probably talk about this for the rest of ever and keep going but I am going to stop because I’m sure the point has been made. :’D
