Day 4 of #makingeverydaycount Jason went back to work for the first time since we got the news and today was very rough without him here for both of us. We took brady to get his back to school haircut. He likes it better once it’s grown out for a couple of weeks so we go early. We went to my brothers. He and his girlfriend made Chile verde, rice, and beans for us. It was so delicious! While there my mama gave me this adorable unicorn. You guys, the way to my heart is through unicorns. Or cookies. Or cake. Or anything sparkly. Or tiny. Haha so basically you could give me anything and I’d be happy. Ended the night at Walmart getting my son back to school supplies and a few odds and ends for the house. I am not giving up but after receiving the news I’ve received earlier this week (how has it only been 5 days so far???) every time I do something I wonder if it will be the last time. Will this be the last year I get to take my son to buy school supplies? Will this be the last time I hang out with my brother? Will this be the last summer I’m here? No, I’m not trying to be morbid but it’s something that I guarantee goes through everyone’s mind when faced with this. It’s only natural.
