i don't usually post about world affairs, but this one's important to me.

in just twenty four hours, three French billionaires got together to raise 700 million for the repairs of Notre Dame cathedral. That's three people.

Three.

Now, I'm not saying that the cathedral should not be restored at all. It's a iconic building to many people and represents something important. But our planet is dying.

The sad truth is that billionaires could easily raise enough money to stop world issues, but they simply do not care.
