Just a quick walk through Notre Dame de Reims Cathedral. Entering the cathedral passing the Smiling Angel. This has become emblematic of the city of Reims. Inside the cathedral I find the stained glass windows of the axial chapel interesting. They were designed by artist Marc Chagall. I photographed the right side composition showing historical events like the coronations of Saint Louis and the coronation of Charles VII, in the presence of Joan of Arc. It is in this Cathedral that most French Kings were crowned. Joan got Charles to the cathedral in 1429 so he would be the official king of France. . . . #reims #reimscathedral #notredamedereims (at Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Reims) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiXERA5rj-a/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
